Raashan Ahmad | For What You've Lost | Sunshine

This song's got a great 70's sound. Raashan seems like a happy dude. If you pay attention you might notice a Lupe Fiasco reference. Other notable tracts from this album: In Love With Wax, Beautiful Ugly, Pain On Black. As is typical of good albums, this one was not released in the United States. Anyone got $40?

Passion Pit

I know hipsters rave about this band and I don't know how much i like all their songs. But  Little Secrets is dang good. You don't have to watch the video, but you should definately listen.

Crown City Rockers | Earth Tones

This is, at least in my opinion, one of the best hip-hop albums of all time. Old school (yet futuristic), groovy, and clean. Extremely hard to find, though. Don't worry, I'll give y'all the CD when I see ya, whenever that is. Live hip-hop is way underrated. I don't know why CCR and The Roots aren't more popular.

Becca you might want to check out an artist named Clara C. She's this tiny Asian chic with an amazing voice. Sings folk. Way too girly for me, but I think you might like it.

Company of Thieves | Ordinary Riches

Michael, I started listening to Company of Thieves after your blog post and they're my new favorite band. Ordinary Riches is a phenomenal album. It's nice to hear a band with a female vocalist every now and then. Her voice definitely fits the band's style.

I'm sure Michael has already heard this song, but for those of you who haven't check out "Oscar Wilde."
